The Collaboration of Maleny Artists
present their first exhibition for 2012 ...
Artists were given the challenge to produce works on a theme - Making Music in Maleny - to fit on a 12" x 12" canvas in any medium they choose - and thirty two of our finest have come forward with a great exhibition. Subject matters vary from leaves to barbed wire and brass gongs. Each artwork has a story attached - so not only is the exhibition pleasing to view, but is also a good read into the minds of the artists as to what inspires their arts practice.
The exhibition is at one of Maleny's leading cafes - Maple 3 - and runs for four weeks until 30 April. The cafe is open 7 days from early morning to 5pm - at number 3 Maple Street ... so when next in town please drop in for a coffee and slice of their famous cheese cake and a wander around this exciting exhibition.
Enjoy ...
